About this page
Modern software is a collective effort. Websta would not be possible without the thousands of open source projects maintained by independent developers, companies, and communities around the world. On this page we acknowledge the most important libraries we rely on and the licences under which they are distributed.
If you believe a project is missing from this list or attributed incorrectly, please let us know and we will update it promptly.
Our code
The Websta application code, product design, and branding are proprietary to Websta OÜ. Unless otherwise stated, all content you see under the Websta brand is © Websta OÜ and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without prior written permission.
Open source we use
The following libraries power significant parts of Websta. Each name links to the project's repository where you can read its full licence terms.
Next.js
MITReact framework for production — SSR, App Router, routing, and build tooling.
@vis.gl/react-google-maps
Apache 2.0React components and hooks for the Google Maps JavaScript API.
Fonts
Websta uses the Geist typeface by Vercel, released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Additional typefaces may be loaded on individual published profiles at the provider's request; those remain the property of their respective foundries.
Trademark notice
“Websta”, the Websta logo, and the slogan “Connecting Communities” are trademarks of Websta OÜ. All other product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this page are the property of their respective owners. Use of them does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.
Contributing
Parts of the Websta ecosystem — SDKs, CLI tools, and example projects — may be released under permissive licences. If and when we open such components, we will list them here. There is no public Websta GitHub organisation yet.
